I think it is a very good example of critical thinking. I didn't know that there are some people saying that Starbucks Coffee supports Israel and boycott against them. Starbucks Coffee is really familier for us and I just have thought that they taste good, quite expensive but worth going. So, I can't imagine how it's connected to Israel-Palestine problem. Even if Starbucks Coffee really support Israel and everyone notices it, most of them don't stop going Starbucks Coffee especially in Japan. Because we can't actually feel that going and using money for Starbucks means supporting Israel. McDonald and Puma cases are same. I know it is little bit selfish but I think it is the real.

I know it is a bit selfish but it is real...I agree with your idea, especially in this line... If cases are not familiar with us, we people don't care usually . I don't know it's bad or not...
返信削除I think as you say even if the connection of Starbucks and Israel is true and it is revealed, situation of Starbucks in Japan will not change. Generally people pay for company for their products and ideological decision about buying something is not regular for Japanese people.
